The issue of the existence or non-existence of Qur'anic words derived from other languages (called the discussion of loan-words) is one of the issues that have long been discussed by the Qur’anic scholars. Therefore, due to some intellectual and religious principles, some Orientalists have taken a special stance on this issue and consider the use of a number of loan-words from other languages in the Holy Qur’an as the reason to regard the Holy Qur’an as a non-revealed book adapted from the books of the former religions. We believe that the use of a few borrowed words from other languages in the Qur’an has been quite natural and it is according to the process of lexical borrowing in the other languages. This article attempts to prove the falsity of the theoretical foundations of some Orientalists with regard to three issues, 1. The literacy of the Prophet (PBUH), 2. The Holy Qur’an as a non-revealed book, and 3. Non-adaptation of the Qur'an from the scriptures of the former religions.
