Given the foundational role of culture in shaping individual and social identity, alongside the profound impact of modern technologies on cultural structures, the necessity of reconsidering the methods of transmitting religious values emerges. The present research, employing a descriptive-analytical method and drawing upon Islamic sources including the Holy Quran, narrations, and the works of Muslim thinkers, seeks to extract the cultural principles of religious education in confronting artificial intelligence. The findings demonstrate that five central principles—transcendent idealism, study and reading, cooperation and collective work, critical thinking and openness to critique, and the avoidance of luxury—provide an appropriate cultural framework for religious education in the age of artificial intelligence. The results indicate that the responsible and ethics-oriented use of artificial intelligence requires the design of intelligent systems sensitive to cultural diversity and compatible with religious foundations. This research emphasizes the importance of nurturing a generation of youth committed to and aware of their own culture, while simultaneously capable of effective engagement with the modern world.
