Abstract
What should we expect from religious scriptures? The issues related to the worldly affairs or the issues related to the soul and eternal salvation? This question puts forward the popular subject of the relationship between experimental science and religion. Although the function of religious literature and experimental science are two different things and the function of the first one is to seek the man's eternal salvation whereas the role of the second one is to pursue worldly welfare of the man, but in some cases apparently there are some conflicts between them. Various solutions have been proposed to solve these conflicts which some are wrong and some are true but do not solve the problem completely. It seems that the solution to this conflict is to adopt a network or systematic approach; this means that numerous parameters should be considered, some have a pivotal role, and some have a minor role. According to this solution, in cases where the conflict arises sometimes science should be paid attention and the holy texts should be interpreted, and on the contrary, sometimes the holy text should be considered.
