Abstract
Most of the efforts for knowing the miracles of Quran throughout history, and especially in the recent decades have been spent to show that Quran has anticipated new scientific facts centuries ago; therefore it is superhuman and miraculous. The present study seeks the validation of this approach, and while showing its obstacles and drawbacks, it reveals that Quran is not a claimant of miracles in this meaning; however knowledge of new sciences is involved in the modern understanding of Quran and unveils the wonders it. This quality -that Holy Quran has the capacity of flexibility to sciences of all times- is one of the most important aspects of its wonders or of miraculous secrets of this invaluable book. This article, after the ontological study of miracle and the critique of Quran’s scientific miracle -based on the pluralism in interpretation-, and with an emphasis on some examples, reveals that knowing these sciences provides the ability to access the meaning for Quran, without which finding a wise meaning would be very difficult today.
