In such a situation, it is natural to think that perhaps our understanding of the verses and hadiths flawed so that the results is in contrary to expectations. In this article, with the view of Qur’an as an exact, interconnected and trans-historical text, by using the interpretation method of thematic interpretation of Qur'an by Qur'an, it is introduced a new and trans-historical understanding of the divorce verses which is not difficult for current believers to accept. In this study, it is introduced a new understanding of at-Talaq: 1, al-Baqarah: 229, and al-Baqarah: 230. Then, we show there is just one type of divorce that takes place in two stages: (i) when iddah starts, the relationship that was became lawful by marriage would severed; (ii) after the period of iddah has passed, the separation completes. In this study, there is no traces of some laws, such as giving the man the right to divorce, Khula divorce, and the triple divorce. با وجود اینکه قوانین خانواده در ایران برگرفته از قرآن و روایات است و در چهل سال گذشته بیش از پیش بر اجرای آنها تأکید شده است، ولی آمار طلاق روزبه‌روز افزایش و آمار ازدواج کاهش می‌یابد. در چنین شرایط نابسامانی، طبیعی است که به این موضوع بیندیشیم که شاید فهم رایج از آیات و روایات ایرادی دارد که نتایج وارونه‌ای به دست آمده است. در این مقاله، ابتدا به روش تفسیر موضوعی قرآن با قرآن و با در نظر گرفتن متن قرآن به عنوان منظومه‌ای دقیق و منسجم، فهمی نو، جامع و فراعصری از آیه 1 سوره طلاق و آیات 229 و 230 سوره بقره ارائه شده است؛ فهمی که پذیرش آن برای مؤمنان دوران کنونی نیز دشوار نیست. در این فهم از آیات، هیچ اثری از برخی قوانین طلاق، همچون دادن حق طلاق به مرد، طلاق خلع و سه‌طلاقه کردن دیده نمی‌شود؛ فقط یک نوع طلاق وجود دارد که در دو مرحله انجام می‌شود. مرحله اول: با شروع دوران عدّه، روابطی که با ازدواج حلال شده بود، قطع می‌شود. مرحله دوم: پس از سپری شدن دوران عدّه، جدایی به طور کامل انجام می‌شود. سپس، فهم مفسران فریقین از آیات طلاق نقد شده و نشان داده می‌شود که فهم مفسران فریقین از آیات طلاق و در نتیجه قوانین کنونی طلاق ریشه قرآنی ندارد. https://religion.mofidu.ac.ir/article_722483_d10c3c539c36bbc864e06a08a3be8387.pdf
